I know many of you are traveling to fun places over the coming months and wanted to wish you, your family and friends safe travels, bon voyage and please return safely having shared great times, making memories.
The summer home market is not slowing as much as past years here in the bay area. Lower interest rates may be driving some of that demand in addition to slightly more and better quality of inventory than same time last year. This is usually the time of year where increased off-market sales occur.
June sales overall were a little slower than expected although May saw a surge that may be driven by most schools ending their year earlier and when you look at the two months together, the bay area market overall is still seeing steady single to double-digit increases over last year depending on the neighborhood.
