Real estate doesn't really take holiday although this is the time of year where typically there are fewer homes listed and therefore fewer homes sold.
If you are a buyer during this time, it's always good to continue your search, as you will be potentially competing with fewer competitors. This seasonal market slowdown typically runs through the beginning of February (usually until right after the Super Bowl) which is the official kick off of our spring market.
I am already working with sellers to prepare their home for the Spring 2025 market, as many of the painters, staging companies and other related contractors are getting work scheduled for January and February.
